ZION WORLD PRAYER AND MISSIONS INC. SOKOTO NIGERIA TRAINING OF MISSIONARIES SET TO ENGAGE THE UNREACHED AND UNENGAGED TRIBES OF NIGERIA AND NIGER REPUBLIC MONDAY 8TH-THURSDAY 11TH MAY 2017

Out of the over 500 tribes in Nigeria, over 70 of these tribes are unengaged and unreached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In February this year during our Ministry's annual Prayer and Missions Conference in Abuja, Our Director Dr M.A Made a call for Missionaries that will want to start work in any of these unreached and unengaged tribes which are mostly in the Northern region of Nigeria, he promised that our Ministry will provide a short intensive training and liaise with other Ministries and partners to work towards raising monthly financial support for such Missionaries.
The training held in our Ministry training base Dogongada village Sakaba LG Kebbi state from Monday 8th-Thursday 11th May,14 Missionaries from the following Ministries; Fear of God Church of Christ Nasarawa State, Mission of Mercy Ministry Lagos, Revival Fire Ministry Kebbi State, Christ Apostolic Church Christ affairs District Lagos, Lamb of God Mission Benue State, Dorcas Ministry Borno State, Lamb o.f God Mission Benue State, Chosen Generation Chapel Gombe State, Chosen Generation Chapel Gombe State, Four Square Church Maradi Niger Republic and Zion World Prayer and Missions Sokoto were in attendance for the training.
The facilitators of the training are Dr. M.A, his Wife Bar Shade A and Pst Okoro Uche.
After the training, 12 of the Missionaries from the following Ministries chose to go to the following unreached and unengaged tribes of Nigeria and Niger Republic.

2) Barcheve- SaniIsah ( Zion World Prayer and Missions. Sokoto)
3) Kamo- Rev J. Akinfenwa ( Mission of Mercy Ministry Lagos)
4) Pa'a- Denis David( Revival Fire Ministry Kebbi State)
5) Gwa- Pst Simon Awubode ( Christ Apostolic Church Christ affairs District Lagos)
6) Gwandara- Abel Ikye (Lamb of God Mission Benue State.)
7) Duwai- Adam Umar ( Dorcas Ministry Borno State)
8) Kupa- Dennis Audu (Lamb of God Mission Benue State)
9) Jimbin- Christopher Joseph ( Chosen Generation Chapel Gombe State)
10) Lopa- Friday Fakina ( Chosen Generation Chapel Gombe State)

UPDATES FROM RESEARCH ON UUPG TRIBES

BARKE TRIBE- PROPHET J.U.S EZEAKER

The Barke tribe is located in Ganjuwa LG Bauchi State, which is located at the border between Bauchi and Jigawa State.
There are up to fifteen villages in Ganjuwa LG and they are made up of different tribes. They include the following; Barke, Fulani,.Bur, Karia, Jinbin, Tsagu, Miya,Waruji,BayaSiri

In Barke village there are various needs, there is no School, no Hospital, no water, no electricity and no good road, best mod.e of entering the village is with motor bike because the road is very sandy.
There are no Christians so there is no Church, there a few Muslims and there is no mosque there.

KAMO TRIBE BY REV.J.O.AKINFENWA

The Kamo tribe is located in three different Local Governments namely Katungo LG which is the most populous of the Kamo tribe and has been reached with the Gospel and also engaged, Akko LG which also have some Kamo indigenes who are mostly Muslims and Biliri LG which have few Kamo indigenes and are mixed up with Christians and Muslims, they are all in Gombe State North West of Nigeria.
Rev Akinfenwa met with DrAbner Bello who is the assistant District head of Patuwana District, a medical Doctor and Secretary of Bible Translators, they are presently working on translation of the Bible to Kamo language & some other Church leaders in PatuwanaKatungo LG.
DrAbner Bello offered him a 4bedroom flat for free to stay and carry out his assignm.ents.
There are about 56 villages that are Kamo tribe and 16 of them have ECWA Churches there; the names of the villages are ;(1)Dinge, (2)Patuwana 1st Church In Kamo (3)Yalumine(4)Bukli (5)Laftarin (6)Lafiya (7)Shengeshcnege (8)Lah (9)Zange (10)Kidda 1 (11)Kidda 2 (12)Bibwai (13)Jalingo (14)Sakauri (15)Latoddo (16)Pokwakka

There Are Three Other Churches Namely; Little Flock Church Anglican Church And Living Faith All In Patuwana

The following villages are not reached and they are unengaged with the Gospel, they include the following; (1)Yanakata 1 (2)Yanakata 2 (3)Adarawa
(4)SarkinYaki (5)Tukade (6)JanroKawuwa (7)Jalingo 2 (8)JanroSeni
(9)Janro Mai (10)JanroYaya there are also 13 other villages with about thirteen thousand people that are unreached and unengaged.
In a summary about 60% are partly reached with the Gospel while 40% are out rightly unreached and unengaged with the Gospel.

MALIAN TAMASHEQ, TIMBUK- PST ADAMU B.AKO

There are two villages where this tribe is located, the first village is TudunBugaje, Madaroumfa LG Maradi State and the second is ZangonOusmaneMadaroumfa LG Maradi State all in Niger Republic. There are no Christians and no Churches. They are Muslims.
There no schools, no Hospitals but the villages have hand dug wells and bore hole water.

BARCHEVE- SANI ISAH

The Bacheve tribe are located in Danko Wasagu LG, there are about 40 villages that are of this tribe in this Local Government, in all these 40 villages there are different Churches which include; Assemblies of God, ECWA, Baptist, UMCA, Harvest for Christ, Anglican and Catholic Churches, Assemblies of God is the most popular in the villages, Pst Sani was able to visit the following villages and found the corresponding Churches, Haji Gomo Village- Anglican Church, Maisawo Village- Assemblies of God Church, Sabon Gari Kyabu Village – UMCA ,

> JIMBIN- CHRISTOPHER JOSEPH

The Jimbin tribe is located in Jimbin village, Ganjuwa LG Bauchi State, there are two Churches there namely ECWA and COCIN Church, and they have two boreholes, no Hospital and a Government School that is not functioning.
They are majorly Muslims and few idol worshipers and Christians. There are about three other wards under Jimbin Village where there are no Churches.
The terrain is not very motorable, motor bikes are major means of transportation.

GWA- PST SIMON AWUBODE

The Gwatribe is located in Samnaka Gwa village, Toro LG Bauchi State, their population is about four thousand, there is no Church in the village, there is only one mosque though they are majorly Muslims but there are Churches in the surrounding villages which include; Samnaka Village- there is a Baptist Church,Gem Bada Village- there is aBaptist Churches there, Gida Biyu village- there is an ECWA Church.
The terrain is not very motorab.le, motor bikes are major means of transportation.
